On November 10, according to Nanjing Hua Xun US patent report, Samsung recently announced a mobile phone patent showing the foldable design of future smart phones. The patent diagram shows that there is a hinge design in the middle of the folding mobile phone, through which the mobile phone can be folded in half from the middle.
Not long ago, Apple officially released the iOS 10.1.1 update, but surprisingly, they have now re-released this version of the system.
Samsung may launch a bendable mobile phone next year, but it is not sure whether it will use this patented technology. This design will bring many interesting functions to the mobile phone. For example, folding the mobile phone in half will be more convenient to carry, and the curved shape will fit the facial curve more when answering the phone, which means it is more comfortable to use.
Samsung has been working on bendable screens for a long time, and this is not the first Samsung patent on foldable phones. Last year, Samsung launched a concept design, the phone can not only fold, but also can be rolled into a cylinder.
Whether it is a flexible, foldable or rollable smartphone, these designs are not only as simple as the phone screen, but also require internal hardware to adapt, at least to ensure that these hardware are placed inside the phone and not damaged by the active body. Here comes the problem. No one has seen the bendable battery before!
