It is a well-known fact that Samsung is developing a foldable device. Rumors have surfaced about such projects. Now according to Nanjing Huaxun news, a patent application of the company shows that the name of this folding device may be Galaxy Wing, and supports a variety of folding methods.
The patent application shows that the Galaxy Wing device can be folded into a rollable bracelet, and the series can also be folded and unfolded into a virtual keyboard containing a display. However, we must consider that the patent application is only used to register concepts, and the actual product may take a long time to market, or it may not be sold at all.
Samsung has applied for a variety of concept patents for foldable devices, including a 3-in -1 device with a built-in flexible OLED screen, which can be transformed into a smart watch, mobile phone or tablet computer. The usefulness of such a device is undeniable, but we have yet to hear that Samsung has developed a prototype device.
According to Nanjing Hua Xun, however, in June this year, Samsung executives said that the South Korea company was indeed developing the Galaxy X folding smartphone, which will be listed in 2017. It has a curved 4K AMOLED display that can be folded in half. But after June, the Galaxy X folding smartphone has no further news.
