Nanjing Hua News: Apple has recently obtained a patent for a wearable device that can monitor the wearer's electrocardiogram through a series of sensors.
Usually, ECG measurement needs to rely on multiple electrodes to read data, and different electrode positions will lead to different measurement results. The device uses a series of built-in electrodes to obtain data from different parts of the body to measure the wearer's ECG signals, making the results more stable and helping doctors determine the user's heart health. The user can wear it as a ring, a brooch, or a watch as needed.
Apple believes that devices related to human health will be at the forefront of technological innovation. Last year, Apple released ResearchKit open source platform that allows patients to upload pathology information through their iPhones to help doctors get the data. It is reported that Apple is developing a new health tracking product. This wearable product is different from Apple's previously developed Apple Watch and iRing, which can collect physiological data such as user's heart rate, blood pressure and blood sugar. It may appear with the new iPhone in 2017.
