U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Launches New Patent Pilot Program

Nanjing Hua Xun News: The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has launched a "post-prosecution pilot program (P3 programme), which allows applicants to make oral statements to the examination panel before a patent is finally rejected and an appeal application is submitted.
As part of the Enhanced Patent Quality Program, applicants have the opportunity to make an oral presentation of their amendments during the P3 program.
According to USPTO Director Michelle. "The program is part of the USPTO's commitment to collaborating with stakeholders and providing new programs for applicants and practitioners," MichelleLee said in a blog post ".
