The 3rd Huaxun Cup-National Legal Writing Competition in 2022 Ends Successfully

Under the guidance of Xi Jinping's thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, we should innovate the training mechanism of legal talents, enhance the comprehensive ability of law students, and clarify the orientation of legal documents in legal education. Guide law students to take writing ability as an important basis for engaging in the legal profession. In view of this, the Hua Xun Cup · Legal Writing Competition is held. It is hoped that through this activity, the legal writing training and culture of internationally renowned law schools for many years will be promoted, with a view to contributing to the improvement of the writing ability of legal practitioners.

The competition began to prepare for the release in early October last year and completed the review in February this year. It lasted nearly four months and finally ended successfully. It was successfully held online on the afternoon of February 24, 2023.

Dr. Hou Qingchen, General Manager of Huaxun, delivered a speech as the guest of honor. Five award-winning students participated in the online award ceremony of the 3rd Huaxun Cup National Legal Writing Competition in 2022.

Lawyer Hou, general manager of Huaxun, congratulated the award-winning students of this activity. Lawyer Hou explained the original purpose and significance of this activity: the American Essay writing mode and argumentation logic, and emphasized the importance of writing, which will be of great help to the students in the future on the road of law, especially the work of lawyers. We hope that this attempt is only a preliminary sowing, and it will gradually sprout and thrive in the future. If Hua Xun can make a little contribution to the development of writing ability of legal personnel in mainland China, it will be our incomparable honor.

Finally, Huaxun hopes to continue the Huaxun Cup legal writing competition, which can be held once a year to provide a platform for law school students across the country to show their professional legal writing.
